We provide secure bike storage; bike cleaning and basic repair facilities in addition to a drying room and laundry to ensure your gear is ready for the following day. We can provide you with an early start breakfast and a packed lunch!
The Yorkshire Dales have always been popular with cyclists, even before Stage One of the Tour de France passed through on 5th July 2014 putting Reeth, Swaledale, Wensleydale, and the surrounding area firmly on the cycling map! Now there is the annual Tour de Yorkshire which attracts thousands of visitors to the region every May.
From Reeth you can explore many cycling routes including the National Cycle Route 71 towards Tan Hill. Route 71 also links to the White Rose Cycle route NR65. Other routes around the Yorkshire Dales incude:

Reeth and the Yorkshire Dales offer fantastic mountain biking, stunning scenery, rare wildlife and historical places of interest en route. There is plenty of variety in the Swaledale and surrounding area from hard stone trails, steep climbs and descents and moorland single track. The Dales has 900 Km of bridleways, single tracks and green lanes so plenty of scope for all abilities of riders! Here are some suggested routes:

Reeth is home to Ard Rock MB which attracts hundreds ( over 1000 in 2015) of mountain bike riders to their 3 day event from 5th - 7th August and to the Ard Rock Marathon on 27th September 2016, the latter offering a brutal 40 mile challenge over 3500m of climbing and descending in stunning Swaledale!
Dales Bike Centre in Fremington, 5 minutes away, provides bike hire facilities, skills courses, bike sales and repair and guided bike rides.
For those of you who would welcome a guide or someone to give you an extra challenge, then Alfresco Adventures and RUNBIKEFUN both offer accompanied trails and routes.
