We hope this guide provides useful information to help you plan your stay. Our aim is to ensure you have an enjoyable stay at Cambridge House, regardless of needs, but realise that the house isn’t suitable for those who are fully dependent on a wheelchair as we don’t have a ground floor room or a lift.

Cambridge House is situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park on the outskirts of Reeth on Arkengarthdale Rd, 450m from the top of the green. By nature of being in The Yorkshire Dales, the landscape is quite hilly and the road from the green to Cambridge House is a gradual incline which takes about 5-10 minutes to walk. While there isn’t a pavement for part of the way, there are street lights and we can supply torches if required.

There is a brown sign post at the top of the green to indicate the direction to Cambridge House, a three storey grey house on the left hand side of the road as you leave Reeth.

Children: Cambridge House doesn’t have a family bedroom and so for safe guarding reasons we’re unable to accept children under 18 years of age.

This access statement does not contain personal opinions as to our suitability for those with access needs, but aims to accurately describe the facilities and services that are offered to our guests.
