Children: Many guests choose to stay with us for the peaceful and relaxing ambience at Cambridge House. Some of our guests are parents, enjoying a weekend away without children. Although Cambridge House has a twin and a single room, we don't have a family room and so, for safeguarding reasons, we are unable to accommodate children under 12 years of age.
Dogs: We love our three dogs and know how important our four-legged friends are; we can't imagine walking without a dog at our side! Please contact us if you wish to bring your dog. If booked in advance, one well behaved dog is welcome in 'Tether', our double en-suite on the second floor. A charge of £5.00 per night is payable with all proceeds to either The Dogs Trust or Blue Cross. We do ask guests to be mindful of other guests who may not appreciate our four-legged friends as much as we do; dogs are not allowed in the dining room and we request that they are not left alone in your room. Some of our doggy guests stay in their owner's cars on our secure drive. Our dogs are not allowed in the guests' areas so you probably will not get to meet them.
Assistance dogs are most welcome. Please call us to talk about your requirements.
Cancellation policy: In these extraordinary times, we are not taking a deposit at the time of booking but we do require you to provide details. If you are unfortunate and have to cancel your stay, we politely ask that you give us as much notice as possible so that we may be able to re-let your room. We do advise taking out travel insurance just in case the unexpected happens and you can't come and stay with us. These are special cancellation arrangements and they may change at any time. Our full T&C can be found at the bottom of this page.
